Saint Joseph's sophomore goalkeeper Katie Cappelletti made a game-high 11 saves as the Hawks' women's soccer battled Maryland to a hard-fought 0-0 double overtime draw at Sweeney Field on Sunday afternoon.
How It Happened
• In the first half, the Terps came out aggressive as they outshot the Hawks 9-2.
• Cappelletti, who stood tall for all 110 minutes as she turned away every Maryland scoring opportunity, made six of her saves in the opening 45 minutes.
• One of Saint Joseph's best scoring chances came early in the second half as a header by Erica Behr just missed the goal.
• In the first overtime, the Hawks tallied a pair of shots, but couldn't put either on goal.
• Cappelletti made an early save in the second overtime to keep the score knotted at 0-0.
• Izzy Greene had St. Joe's best scoring chance of the final 10 minutes as her shot off a corner kick glanced just wide of the net.

• Cappelletti, who earned her second shutout of the season, moved to 0-3-2 on the year.
• On the offensive side, Natalie Nevins collected a team-best three shots, while Greene and Rachel Brown each chipped in with two shots.
