The Mountain Hawks had seven first place finishes on the day and fell by only 12 points to the Broncs. Glenn Lasco picked up two of the victories, while Owen Thomas, Connor Drucis and Connor Goodyear had one each.
"It was a huge team effort for this group with big wins for three of our main competitors," said head coach Rob Herb. "The team filled in and made this meet very close until the end. Great day."
The day started with a win in the 200-yard medley relay for the team of Owen Thomas, Connor Sept, Elvin Lee and Aiden McCurley with a time of 1:33.38.
Thomas got yet another first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.53.
After Connor Drucis led the Mountain Hawks against West Chester on Friday night, he came in first in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.03).
Lasco's two victories came in the 50-yard freestyle (21.08) with a second-place finish for Aiden McCurley (21.70) and the 100-yard freestyle (46.69).
Connor Goodyear's time of 4:43.86 in the 500-yard freestyle was the fastest of the day and then the Mountain Hawks concluded the meet with a first-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:06.09 for the tandem of Caleb Eberly, Joe Huber, Keagan Casey and Goodyear.
Lehigh will take a brief break in the schedule before returning home on Nov. 19 to host Lafayette in The Rivalry presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network and Coordinated Health.
