Cold air will settle into Michigan, and almost all the way to the very southeast corner. Several mornings will start with temperatures below freezing, making most areas have what I would call a hard freeze.
A hard freeze usually happens when temperatures drop into the upper-20s for four hours. This is generally when we find all plant top-growth is killed, and it’s the end of the growing season. It also means it’s the end of the lawn mowing season.
Here are the low temperatures forecast for this week.
