According to Heromag, Wordle has a hidden hard mode but many players claim that this makes the game easier.
To activate this mode, players must first click on the Settings icon, at the top right of the screen. Then click on the Hard Mode option in order to maximize gameplay.
Hard mode has allowed players to change their strategy when guessing difficult words.
Heromag reports that activating this mode means that players are not allowed to put in a word with a completely different set of letters.
For example, if any green or yellow letters show up when a player guesses a word, those same letters must be chosen in the next guess.
The game was created by Welsh software engingeer, Josh Wardle. This game was officially launched in October 2021 but was then acquired by the New York Times in late January 2022.
Wordle’s rules and objectives are pretty straightforward. The objective of Wordle is to guess the five-letter word which you are only able to do once per day. The rules follow that a green tile means the letter is in the correct spot. A yellow tile means that the letter is in the word, but is in the wrong spot. A gray tile means that the letter is not in the word at all.
You will often find many on Twitter posting their personal Wordle grids and jumping for joy in their accomplishment of getting the word correct before even having your morning coffee.
The game is quite simple to understand but incredibly fun and addicting for many word-game lovers across the globe.
